Lightweight browser is the term used to describe a Web browser that forgoes
support of all Web standards in favor of a faster program that will requires
less system resources to run on a computer. Lightweight browsers often do not
include support for CSS, JavaScript, and other Web elements but will still
render most pages correctly for viewing.
Dillo A lightweight browser mainly based on GTK+ and aims to be a multi-platform browser alternative that is small, stable, developer-friendly, usable, fast, and extensible.
