In videoconferencing whiteboarding is the
term used to describe the placement of shared documents on a participant's
on-screen whiteboard. This is a feature included with many videoconferencing
software packages. Other features of whiteboarding are built-in tools for
editing and marking up the electronic document, much as you would when using a
traditional, physical whiteboard.
