wireless repeater
Last modified: Tuesday, December 04, 2007
Also called an expander, a wirelessrepeater is a device used
to increase the effective coverage of your wireless
network. Differing from traditional access points, the
newer generation of Wireless-G wireless repeaters
do not need to be directly connected to your network via cables. Instead the
device simply needs to be within range of your main access point and it will
bounce the signals out to your remote wireless devices.
